TouchTrainers
for Student Pilots

Student Pilots

It makes sense to use a simulator right from the start of your flying adventure integrating ground and flight school into one environment and allowing you to practice whenever you want.

Better Training

Stress and lack of focus reduces training efficiency. Flying an aircraft can be a series of interruptions as the instructor, Air Traffic Control and other aircraft disrupt learning. The weather will change requiring different airfield pattern work, crosswind and visibility before you are ready for them. Aircraft booking conflicts, unserviceability and scheduled maintenance can all make training frustrating. A simulator is ideal to teach and reinforce the concepts you will use throughout your initial training. The ‘Pause Button’ is a major tool for discovering why you are having difficulties and correcting them on the spot, no more waiting until de-brief. Choose the aircraft, weather and location you want and practice until you are ready. Then fly with less stress and more understanding to make more efficient use of valuable real flight time.

Modern Tools

Modern helper applications are available online and on mobile devices to calculate weight and balance, discover enroute weather, plan and brief flights, flight logging and more. Discover their use in the simulator before you use them in the aircraft so you can understand how they work, when to use them and be familiar with their operation.

Integrate Your Training

Integrated flight training does not separate ground and flight school. Use the simulator to discover how ground school lessons are relevant. Airport signage, taxying, winds and navigation can all be seen working just like ground school predicts. Do things you might not want to do in the aircraft like carburetor icing, VFR into IFR, getting lost, unusual attitudes, engine failures and low visibility navigation.

Rapid Repetition

We all have some lessons during initial flight training where we have a hard time learning the concepts or skills such as landing trimming, turns, pitch power performance and trim, slow cruise; the answer can often be repetition. Do the same task many times in the simulator without having extensive set up time. Practice take-off and landing procedures, engine failure procedures, communications etc.

Lower Cost and Convenience

Being able to practice at your convenience, even in your home, will let you simulate as many hours as needed to reach the standards required for a private pilot. But the training enabled by the simulator does not only reduce cost, it can creates better pilots as well.

A Career Investment

Whichever aircraft, avionics or location your TouchTrainer goes with you, frominitial aircraft familiarization to instrument currency the TouchTrainer is a flying life-long training tool.

Versatility

The TouchTrainer moves with you when you change aircraft, avionics and mission. It can simulate many different types of aircraft and avionics including high performance Technically Advanced Aircraft. The TouchTrainer is under continual development to increase the avionics and aircraft simulated so it is likely as you move forward in your flying the TouchTrainer will adapt to your requirements

Upgradeability

From our lowest priced standard (SD) system TouchTrainers are upgradeable to the next level desk based simulator, right up to the outstanding TouchTrainer VM 100. TouchTrainers can be upgraded with more aircraft and more panels than any other system.

Maintainability

Touch Screens and standard hardware replace the low volume mechanical systems of other manufacturers to provide increased reliability as well as versatility. On Line Remote desktop support is available to maintain your system should something go wrong and our software upgrades mean the TouchTrainer constantly improves its simulation capabilities.
